Piecing Requirements:
Take 1, 1.5"x5" strip and sew it to the Pacifier 5" square. Continue sewing strips to squares alternating between Pacifier and Baby Buggy squares until you have made a row of 6 blocks.
Continue making these rows, alternating your beginning square with the Pacifier square and Baby Buggy square. Complete 6 rows.
Sew 1, 1.5" cornerstone square to the end of 1, 1.5" sashing strip. Connect to the next cornerstone until you have 1 strip with 7 cornerstones and 6, 1.5" sashing strips. Make 7 strips.
Sew 1 cornerstone and sashing strip row to the top of your first strip of 5" squares. Sew the next cornerstone and sashing strip section to the bottom of your first strip of 5" squares. Continue until you have joined all 5" square rows with cornerstone and sashing strips. This will be the center portion of your quilt and should measure as a 34" square.
Using your 4, 2.5" strips of inner border, sew one inner border strip to each side of the quilter center. Finish by adding the remaining two strips to the top and bottom. Now your quilt should measure 38" x 38".
Add the final 6.5" outer borders to the top and bottom of the project first. Cut 1, 6.5" strip in half and add to the remaining 2, 6.5" outer borders. Press seam flat and measure from the middle for appropriate size for the last two outer side borders and sew to quilt.
